tA was never a "member in good standing" here. He was pretty much considered a pain in the butt.

However, eventually he drifted into periods of paranoid delusions. This involved his theory that members were "hacking his cell phone". Then there was his "Languatron is a shared handle" theory (he believed that various people here, including Vixen, were making the Lang posts at various bboards).

To this end tA even posted on the original Dry Board as Lang, by using dial-up and dailing long distance to Chicago. All to prove how someone could fake posting from Chicago.

When people didn't buy into his paranoid theories he flipped out even more. His "war" with certain people continues onto today.

Wouldn't that cause him to get long distance charges on his phone bill?

It no doubt did but I guess he figured it was worth it in order to "prove" his conspiracy theory that the Moist crew was behind the Lang handle.
